All Grassy Meadow Music products come with blanket permission to live-stream or broadcast performances for non-commercial purposes only. This includes things such as live-streamed or broadcasting of pre-recorded church services, or sharing videos of performances on YouTube or Facebook. All we ask is that you include information about the piece's title, composer, and publisher information, if at all possible.
If you're planning to record one of our pieces to sell, charging folks to attend a concert, or broadcasting a performance behind a paywall, you'll need to obtain permission from us to do so. You can contact us at info@grassymeadowmusic.com and we'll help you out.
Want to arrange one of our handbell solos for clarinet? Want to turn a piano piece into a string quartet version? You'll need permission to do that, but we can help! Just contact us at info@grassymeadowmusic.com and describe your project, and we'll get you set up.
Many of our products (especially our 8-bell and 12-bell titles) come with permission to reproduce enough copies for your small ensemble to play. Our full handbell ensembles come with a Site License option, which gives you permission to pay one fee and make as many copies as your ensemble and your ensemble only need to perform the piece. If the title you purchased does not say on the product page that you have permission to reproduce for your group, or you did not purchase a Site License, you'll need to purchase as many copies as you need for the number of copies you plan to make.
Don't feel like messing with page turns, so you want to display your music on an iPad or other tablet for practice and performance? As long as you've purchased a legal copy (either physical or digital) from the Grassy Meadow Music site or elsewhere, then display away! (But just like our rules for reproducing music, you can only display on as many devices as you have legal copies for, so no buying one single copy and displaying it on fifteen devices - just use courtesy and common sense, and it's all good!)
Have a question about obtaining permission for something not covered here? Email us at info@grassymeadowmusic.com, and we'll be happy to help you with that!
